The Beyond Politics wiki is a guide that helps busy people quickly discover and apply the best known community decision-making system for their particular situation.
At the moment, the people at this wiki are excited about the Free Association/Delegable Proxy system. There are many situations where it would be a better choice than the system currently in use. We think the world would be a better place if more people knew about this system and, in the appropriate situations, applied it.
Unfortunately, Arrow's impossibility theorem proves that no one system is best in every situation -- no one system can meet 5 reasonable-sounding requirements.
The Beyond Politics wiki also gives people a place to propose new decision-making systems, discuss them, find out what situations they are best, and a place for people in those situations to discover and apply those new systems.
